For patients with  <strong>fixed prosthesis (crowns)<\/strong>In this case, it is advisable to use a medium or soft cream toothbrush and special dental floss.  <strong>ORAL B dental floss superfluous<\/strong>This one has all the features to facilitate the cleaning of  <strong>crowns<\/strong>  stationary devices for  <strong>orthodontics<\/strong>  and hard-to-reach interdental spaces, for these patients it is also highly recommended to use the  <strong>waterpik<\/strong>  being another very effective option for patients with fixed prostheses. In all patients it is essential to use a good brushing technique since the position of the bristles of the toothbrush makes the removal of bacterial plaque optimal.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Oral hygiene in children<\/strong>It is vital to generate in them the notice of brushing, it can be stimulated from an early age with a wet gauze or with a thimble with very soft bristles in order to keep their  <strong>gum<\/strong>  clean and that when he\/she starts brushing, he\/she already has the habit and it is not unknown to him\/her, it is recommended to use fluoride-free cream at early ages.<\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>Follow the steps below:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Step 1:  <\/strong>Start with the outer and inner surfaces, and brush at a 45-degree angle with short, sweeping strokes, i.e., top to bottom and bottom to top, half the width of the teeth, against the tooth line.  <strong>gums<\/strong>. Be sure to reach the <strong>posterior teeth<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Step 2: <\/strong>Continue with the <strong>chewing surfaces<\/strong>. Hold the brush flat and brush back and forth along these surfaces in a sweeping motion.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: <\/strong>Once you reach the inner surfaces of the <strong>front teeth<\/strong>, tilt the brush vertically and make gentle up-and-down strokes with the tip of the brush.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Step 4: <\/strong>Be sure to <strong>brush <\/strong>gently along the <strong>gum<\/strong> line in order to remove plaque that is deposited under the <strong>gingival sulcus<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Step 5: <\/strong>Brush your tongue and gums in a back-and-forth sweeping motion to remove food particles and help eliminate bacteria that cause <strong>bad breath<\/strong> to freshen your mouth.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is always essential to have a qualified dentist who knows how to guide each patient in terms of oral hygiene, according to their needs, not all patients require the same hygiene indications, because let&#8217;s remember that each mouth is different.
